Houston has won four of its past five and is seven games in front in the AL West after defeating Texas 12-1 on Thursday. Carlos Correa hit a three-run homer in the Astros' seven-run fourth, and they banged out 15 hits. Arizona is poised to lose its 100th game tonight, and the Diamondbacks have lost nine of their past 10 games and are 19-56 on the road. Madison Bumgarner goes for the Diamondbacks, but he is a shell of what he used to be with a 7-10 record and a 4.66 ERA, and he has been hammered his last four games while giving up 19 runs on 26 hits in 23 innings. Arizona has lost Bumgarner's last four starts. Brandon Bielak will make his first start for Houston after pitching three scoreless innings against the Angels on Saturday.
