The oddsmakers don't have enough chalk behind the Red Sox here. The Sox have been kings of interleague play especially vs. right-hand pitching where they are an eye-popping 40-11 in their last 51 at Fenway, and 54-15 overall. Buckholz is pitching as well as anyone on their staff, and put him in the series opener and the Sox stand-in at a flawless 9-0. The Diamondbacks have been a disaster on the road, standing-in at just 21-49 in their last 70 as a road dog, including 6-20 with a total from 9-10.5. This one is all Boston.
