While several teams could win everything in MLB this year the Dodgers and the Yankees are always a buzz. Both have one big reason. The amount of great pitched games they generate from their pitching staffs shows it. LA is tops in MLB in games allowing fewer than 3 runs at 30, and the Yankees second having done so 29 tmes. The Dodgers pitching has been absurdly good, as just three of their last 18 opponents have topped the four run mark against them. The Royals are producing nearly a run worse than their offense has done at home. Lugo has has been excellent on the mound. Opponents in his 14 decisions have averaged just 2.79 runs per game. Kansas City exploded for five runs in the first off Julio Urias and held on for a 6-4 win on Saturday and the Royals will look to make it two straight over the Dodgers, who are only 22-21 on the road. Brady Singer comes off one of his best performances of the season shutting out Cleveland on four hits in six innings on Tuesday and Los Angeles batters are only a combined 3-for-15 against him. Tony Gonsolin has had two unimpessive starts allowing 11 runs on 11 hits in 10 2/3 innings against San Francisco and Houston and he had a 5.82 ERA in June. The Dodgers have lost six straight Sunday games for some reason and Kansas City is getting great line value in this matchup. Play the Royals as a Max Play
