Hayden Valley (#1) - Returned from a two-month layoff to lose by just a half-length in a sprint. Attracts leading rider Leparoux as he stretches out to a flat mile on Wednesday. Stalking trip puts him there at the wire.

Solovey (#5) - Is a stretch-running closer that hasn't missed the board since taking the drop from the Maiden Special Weight ranks. Consistent sort will play a factor in Exacta and Trifecta wagering.

Summer's Hideaway (#10) - Was claimed for $30,000 at Louisiana Downs and appeared to love this Turfway polytrack, as she won her Maiden by 5 1/2 lengths while beating the third-place horse, who returned to break her Maiden, by fourteen lengths. Only knock is that she breaks from the tough 10-hole in this One-mile event.
