Top pick: #9 (FLASHY CARLINE) (5-2) - Grey mare by "Flashy Bull" comes off a second place finish here at this tag & trip on Jan. 8th, and earned the best last race "figure" of any of these. A repeat of it should break her maiden.
2nd pick: #4 (Miss Bobbie Bear) (4-1) - One of two fillies entered by trainer Angel Silva, and the pair race uncoupled. Golden Gate invader is lightly raced, and finished fourth at the Fresno Fair when debuting in early October in her only previous start on real dirt. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Society Gem) (6-1) - The second of the Silva fillies, she has a bit of speed, and is racing on conventional dirt for the first time since Oct. 12th when she missed by a "nose" at Fresno while running a career best. In the win mix.
4th pick: #1 (My Society Belle) (15-1) - Lightly raced filly has the rail, drops to a new low, and has a hint of speed. She could grab a small slice at a big price, but winning this seems a bit of a stretch.
