3rd pick: #4 (Haitian Hero) (5-1) - Veteran gelding came up a "neck" short here on Nov. 13 when he was involved in a quick and contested pace duel and held gamely to just miss. Overall on the dirt he's 34-6-9-3 and 6-year-old is another with a fine slate this season (14-3-4-1). Stretch threat.
4th pick: #8 (Remus) (6-1) - Gelding by "Empire Maker" drops off a trio of fourth place finishes here facing tougher after shipping in from Rudioso Downs, following a claim by Wes Martin in late August. No-speed type should get a solid pace to rally into, and he's won the last two times he raced at this $4K tag.
