Top pick: #2 (CLODHOPPER) (2-1) - Irish-bred import tired after rushing up to contest the pace after a "bobbling" start here on March 29th facing tougher on the turf. Race was her first since June 7th and the high-percentage barn of Mike Chambers drops her down in price, switches her to the dirt, and shortens her up in distance. Grey filly meets a very poor field and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Tizhighbrite) (4-1) - Veteran continues to race evenly without threatening and will be cutting back to a distance she's done well at in the past (6-1-2-1).
3rd pick: #3 (Que Pronto) (15-1) - Clearly the main speed, she showed little here on April 2nd, but it was her first since last Memorial Day. Mare has worked very fast since that comebacker and will be a very big price.
4th pick: #1 (Silverada) (3-1) - She's finished third in two straight here at this level, has some positional speed, and draws the rail. Can grab another minor award this afternoon.
