Top pick: #9 (DAKOTA DUSTY) (7-2) - Lightly-raced gelding has been competitive in all his starts (6-2-3-1) and has gone 2-1-1-0 on the grass. 3-year-old by "Dehere" has a speed/stalking stye and will be racing first off a Jeff Metz claim.
nd pick: #10 (Amp and Adrenalin) (9-2) - He rallied to win his local debut on Nov. 2 in his first since coming from the So. Cal circuit and first off an Eric Kruljac claim. The figure earned was a career best and a repeat of it makes him a big threat.
rd pick: #1 (But You Promised) (8-1) - Price play breaks from the rail, has early speed, and will be racing second off a pair of layoffs. Gelding by "Broken Vow" has run well on this course in the past (2-1-1-0), and trainer Shawn Davis will switch him from dirt to turf and stretch him out in distance.
th pick: #4 (Mysterious Soul) (4-1) - Colt rallied to finish second here at this level and distance last out in his first on the grass since last Feb. The faster the pace, the better his chances.
th pick: #7 (Mojumbo) (10-1) - His best "figures" suggest that he could grab a share at a big price, but a win would appear to be a bit of a stretch.
