Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (LOOKING FOR INFO) (4-1) - Filly is cutting back in distance after missing by a 'head' here at this level going a mile Oct. 31. It was her second back off almost a two month break and was her local debut. She gets a slight edge in a very competitive finale to the Tuesday card.
nd pick: #9 (Esmeralda Belle) (3-1) - Tough call as she's taking a big drop in her first here after arriving from Santa Anita recently. Her recent form there is poor but 3-year-old has been facing tougher. Good barn (Jeff Mez) wins at a 15% rate with new arrivals.
rd pick: #11 (Emma's Parade) (6-1) - Another making her local debut, this filly come from the midwest circuit. Un-raced for the past three months, daughter of 'Mineshaft' is dropping to a new low for this attempt. May be competitive at a square price if ready.
th pick: #10 (Back Stop) (20-1) - Well bred filly raced evenly while never involved facing tougher in her first at Turf Paradise Oct. 24. She finished second for a $5K tag Sept. 12 at Zia Park and is a threat at a big price if that effort is repeatable.
th pick: #12 (Charming Gold) (9-2) - In this non-winner of two, filly is only one of a pair who has a local win. She broke her maiden here Nov. 4 and that gives her a big recency on many returning from layoffs.
