Top pick: #4 (CARNERA) - Veteran finished 2nd here at this level on Oct 20th in his first start since June 16th and he looms very large over this field this afternoon. 9-year-old loves this course(17-6-5-2), is in the high-percentage barn of Mike Chambers, and is much the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Tymaker) - Looms the main danger and he has the best early speed of this crew. Another 9-year-old, he's finished third in his last pair (both at this level) and will take them as far as he can.
3rd pick: #6 (Uzziah) - Ships in from Northlands Park where he races second off a re-claim by Bob Diodoro. Gelding has never won on the grass, but has picked up minor awards in 10-of-19 on the turf. Don't just dismiss.
4th pick: #3 (Ilikechocolatemilk) - Grey gelding hasn't seen action since late August at canterbury park. His local grass slate is (25-5-4-2) and he's run well off of layoffs in the past. Can factor if ready with his best.
