Top pick: #5 (NEVADA TIME) (2-1) - The probable favorite, he's lightly-raced and ships from Santa Anita for his first since Jan. 25. Speedy sort takes a big drop in class and had a fine local work here on March 6. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #10 (Chapo) (9-5) - Another coming from Santa Anita, he's been racing evenly facing tougher there. Drops for a new trainer (Jose Silva) and he wins at a solid 20% rate with new arrivals.
3rd pick: #8 (Gilmar) (9-2) - He rallied to finish second in his local debut on March 16th. Yet another that came from California and his race over the track was a career best.
4th pick: #6 (Dust in Zahn) (15-1) - Longshot tired here at this level on Feb. 25. It was his first in seven weeks and first off a negative trainer change, Needs to turn it around, and at this stage a small slice is his ceiling.
