It was his first race since Dec 16 and his connections are cutting him back in distance. 7-year-old draw a nice outside post for this distance.
2nd pick: #4 (Easy Hit) (9-2) - 5-year-old has raced himself back into shape since returning from a 10 month layoff in late November. He rallied to finish third of nine, beaten two lengths racing at this level going six furlongs March 1. It was his best since getting back into action and his connections bring him back in one week.
3rd pick: #2 (Deep Reflection) (3-1) - Stalker finished second at this level Feb 13, then raced evenly in his follow up race Feb 27. He has some back class and can factor if able to avoid any traffic issues in this large field.
4th pick: #10 (Malibu Park) (20-1) - Longshot is cutting back in distance and races with blinkers on. In poor form lately, he has races from last fall that would make him a threat at a big price if repeatable.
