Top pick: #6 (MINI CANDY) (4-1) - Santa Anita shipper takes a big drop in class and runs off a trainer change to the leading man at this meet, Bob Diodoro (24% with new arrivals). Filly has been racing evenly, and has had some problems at the break in two of her three outings. The horse to beat on the huge drop in price.
2nd pick: #9 (Peach Springs) (9-2) - Filly has some early speed, and has been competitive in her last three starts on the local dirt. She draws a nice outside post, and she finished second for owner/trainer Dan McFarland two back at this price-tag.
3rd pick: #2 (One Two Remember) (10-1) - No speed type raced evenly last out after a "bobbling' start and was six lengths back of "Peach Springs" at the wire. Needs to do better this afternoon.
4th pick: #3 (Narc) (7-2) - Well-bred filly is cutting back in distance after finishing fourth here at this tag going a mile on Feb. 8th. Blinkers go on, and she has a fine work showing on Feb. 19th.
