Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #10 (PACKY'S OUT) (4-1) - Gelding has been in search of his second win for a long time, but does have 10 second-place finishes in his 23 lifetime starts. He finished third here at this level Nov. 28 and had some traffic issues that afternoon. Four-year-old by 'Curlin' runs first off a Dan McFarland claim and new trainer had him work a bullet 3 furlongs Dec. 7.
nd pick: #8 (Gunner Grey) (3-1) - The morning line favorite, he has early speed and enters off a third place finish here at this tag and trip Nov. 20. Grey gelding has been competitive in five of his last six when on conventional dirt and should be again today.
rd pick: #5 (Ron Again) (10-1) - NEW gelding is lightly-raced, has sharp early speed, and enters off a near bullet 5 furlong work here Dec. 2. In a god barn (Joe Silva) and a threat at a square price.
th pick: #7 (The Boss is Back) (15-1) - Stretch runner raced evenly when finishing 3.5 lengths in back of 'Packy's Out' here Nov. 28. A fast/and or contested pace would help his overall chances.
th pick: #11 (Lets Say Grace) (8-1) - He's raced evenly facing tougher here in both starts since coming off a 5 month layoff Oct. 12. Claimed last out for $8500, his new connections drop him down to the local bottom ($3,500) so there are some red flags waving.
