Top pick: #2 (CHECHILIA MIA) - Home-bred has been frsehened-up since early January and this filly faced much tougher in her first three starts. Three-year-old showed good early speed in each of her three starts in New Mexico and was working very fast at her home-base of Sunland Park before shipping here. Has a good post, drops way down, and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Just Skip It) - Longshot has been on the sidelines since early December, but trainer Tim Gleason has her working fast locally for her return. Daughter of "Skip Away" can factor at a big price.
3rd pick: #7 (Yang) - Another who's coming off a freshening and a very good barn (Dick Hall) will drop her down, shorten her up, and trainer adds blinkers. Grey filly has been bet in all three starts and is a win candidate.
