Top pick: #9 (BONNIE'S BEARCAT) (2-1) - Since coming to Arizona off a 4 1/2 month beak on Nov. 1, this 5-year-old Cal.-bred has gone 6-1-5-0 on the local dirt. Stalker draws a nice post for his style, meets a weak field, and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #10 (Scorpion Boy) (3-1) - He shower little in his local debut when facing tougher on the grass in his first start in 2 1/2 months anf first for trainer Mike Chambers. Barn switches him to the dirt, drops him to a new low, and Chambers wins at a 34% clip second off of long layoffs.
3rd pick: #1 (Dynawaki) (5-1) - Stretch-out sprinter rallied to finish fourth here at this level going 6-furlongs on Feb. 17. It was his first since Nov. 9 and is brought back quickly while being sent longer.
4th pick: #2 (Wicked Good) (12-1) - He ships back from Sunland Park where he raced evenly in a pair of sprints facing a bit better. Stretches out and he's in the barn of leading trainer Bob Diodoro.
