Top pick: #6 (BULL PEN) (9-5) - Grey gelding had some traffic issues last out racing at this level and distance, and is brought back quickly by a good barn (Jeff Metz). 4yo by "Holy Bull" has some back class, and runs third off an eight-week break.
2nd pick: #4 (Bold Agressor) (5-2) - Speed/stalker set a quick pace, and held to finish third here last out. In shape and well-bred, 4yo should be involved every step, and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Too Bold) (6-1) - Los Alamitos shipper has plenty of speed, but will be negotiating an extra furlong in this spot. He doesn't need the lead to be competitive, and that's a big plus.
4th pick: #7 (Checkerplate) (7-2) - He runs off a claim today, and lightly raced 3yo wasn't beaten much last out after a very wide trip from a tough outside post. Can factor, and he should be a nice price.
