Top pick: #7 (TOUCH THE SUN) (3-1) - Gelding races first off a Jared Brown claim, and once classier veteran is brought back at the purchase price. He tired last out after being sent hard from his inside post, and the move off the rail is a big plus.
2nd pick: #5 (Canal Grande) (5-2) - He missed here by a "head" racing at this level and distance on April 2. It was his second back from almost a three month break, and it's nice to see jockey Scott Stevens stick with him.
3rd pick: #8 (Striking Offer) (15-1) - Longshot has been racing evenly for some time now, but once past the top two picks, this field is pretty weak. His grinding style may land him a share at a big price.
4th pick: #4 (El Tango Ray) (6-1) - Veteran raced evenly last out and was 5 1/2 back of "Canal Grande" at the finish. Stretch runner is capable of impacting with his best.
