Top pick: #7 (JOAN RANGER) (7-2) - Blinkers go on filly that ran evenly at this level going a mile on the grass March 31st. She had finished second on the dirt at this distance in her previous start and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Ms Mumba) (2-1) - One of two entered by leading trainer Bob Diodoro and the pair race uncoupled. This filly is working very fast for her debut, including a bullet 5-furlong breeze here on April 1st. Barn wins at a 23% rate first out and Diodoro's main rider here J. Carrero is aboard. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Wild Deuces) (3-1) - The second of the Diodoro fillies, she was stakes placed last summer/fall at Northlands Park. Un-raced since late October, she's working steadily and Canadian bred is a strong factor if ready.
