Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (NOBLE MOJAVE) (9-2) - Lightly-raced gelding has a new trainer and has been freshened up since Feb 1. Calif. bred has raced evenly in all three local starts and has had trouble at the break in two of those. His works leading up to this are excellent and he can break his maiden at a square price.
2nd pick: #2 (Afleet Edition) (4-1) - Gelding finished a pace-setting second here at this tag and trip Jan 17. Sent in for a two month break, he tired badly in his return March 14 racing on the grass. That was probably a conditioning run and his connections bring him back quickly, switch him back to the dirt, and give him a big rider up-grade.
3rd pick: #6 (Distorted King) (7-2) - This is his 29th start to try and get his maiden win. Inconsistent sort rallied while wide to finish a distant second at odds of 49-1 racing at this level and distance March 2. Capable of impacting if he can repeat it.
4th pick: #5 (One Way Eddie) (5-1) - He has absolutely no early speed at all. Competitive several times at this tag and trip, gelding can run all day. Four-year-old could be a late threat if the pace collapses turning for home.
