Top pick: #8 (AT MY DISCRETION) (3-1) - Colt has been on the sidelines since a narrow defeat at this level at the end of the Canterbury Downs meet on Sept. 13. Working fast and son of "Discreet Cat" is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Desert Wildcatter) (5-1) - He finished a distant third in a small field when debuting here at this level and distance on Feb. 3. Gelding had some trouble that day and has worked very fast since. Strong contender.
3rd pick: #7 (Tizwonderfulbuzz) (8-1) - Colt tired when debuting at Hastings Park last June, the winner that day won right back next out. Working fine and he's in a barn (Greg Tracy) that won 52 times in 2013.
4th pick: #3 (Canducharlie) (5-1) - Debuting colt has an impressive work-out line on view and is in the barn of veteran Dan Morgan. Cal-bred looks well-prepared and is a threat if ready.
