Top pick: #2 (MUNDY) (2-1) - Veteran mare has more grass victories (11) than the rest of the field combined. Nine of those have come at Turf Paradise and all have been at this distance. Speed/stalker won just 10 days ago facing a bit tougher and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Nora's Song) (9-2) - Daughter of "War Chant" has had all of her success on the grass 12-3-4-0. Once classier type was a winner here at this tag and trip on Feb. 2. It was her first score since late April when she was a winner at Lone Star Park. Back in shape following a pair of layoffs, she has the rail and is dangerous.
3rd pick: #9 (Truly Unusual) (4-1) - Mare enters in career best form. Strong finisher is 4-2-2-0 since late Dec. and finished second here in a low-level starter-allowance going 8.5-furlongs on Feb. 8. Her outside post is of no help, but a fast and/or contested pace would help her prospects out.
4th pick: #3 (Le Fascinator) (7-2) - Another that was much classier at one point, she rallied to finish third at this level going a mile Jan. 19. It was a good effort and it was her first start since Nov. 30. Can grab a share, but needs to step it up to threaten the top two selections.
