Top pick: #6 (MIDNIGHT TALYAH) (7-2) - Well bred filly has shown good early speed before tiring in each. They came facing a bit tougher. Both of those were in New Mexico and she makes her Turf Paradise debut for a new trainer (Angel Silva). New barn has been hot the past two weeks and she can take this crew from start-to-finish.
2nd pick: #5 (Lucky Obispado) (8-5) - The probable favorite, she rallied to finish a close up fourth here just one week ago. It was her first at this $5K tag and a career best. Trainer Mark Jensen adds blinkers and this filly is a strong win threat.
3rd pick: #7 (Taelyn's Princess) (10-1) - She was beaten badly last out when she "bore out" badly on a muddy surface. Filly had been competitive start and gets a rider upgrade while dropping to this $5K tag for the first time.
4th pick: #2 (Stephanie Brody) (3-1) - She ships down from Golden Gate where she showed nothing in her debut at odds of 55-1. She's from the same barn as "Talyah" (Angel Silva) and he drops her down and switches her from "poly" to real dirt.
