Top pick: #7 (BLUE LINE CAT) (2-1) - Stalker just missed here facing weaker on Dec. 30. Claimed that day by Jared Brown (5 for 16 off the claim), he brings him back quickly and moves him up in class. He has some back class and should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into.
2nd pick: #6 (Highly Cynical) (9-5) - Speedy sort is also pretty tough to get by when turning for home. Cal bred by "High Brite" has been beaten a "neck" and a "nose" in both local dirt sprints at this tag. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Know More) (8-1) - At one time he would have crushed this field, but he's slipped considerably the past since the fall of 2013. He showed nothing here facing tougher on Dec. 15 in his first back from a three month layoff. He takes a big drop today and if he has any talent left it will show here.
4th pick: #4 (You Done Good) (10-1) - No-speed type rallied from far back to finish fourth last out. He was almost five lengths back of "Blue Line Cat" that day and would benefit if the pace was fast and/or contested.
