Top pick: #3 (MISS COMMUNICATION) (2-1) - She's been very sharp in her last pair and this invader from So. California was a winner at santa Anita in a switched contest racing for a $25K tag on Jan. 25. Claimed that day by Mike Anderson he has her nicely spotted in her first start outside of California.
2nd pick: #4 (Glee) (5-2) - English-bred filly has some fine early speed and will also be coming here from the So. Cal. circuit. Unraed since Dec. 13, she races first off a trainer switch to Mike Chambers (a strong 38% winning angle). He's worked her six times since receiving this 4-year-old and she looks like the main dangeer.
3rd pick: #7 (Scalper's Dream) (6-1) - Mare moves back to the turf after tiring badly here on Jan. 25 in a dirt sprint. She had finished a pace-chasing third in her previous effort and it was on this surface at this trip and level.
4th pick: #6 (April) (8-1) - Strong finisher has been competitive in all three local appearances since relocating from the No. Cal. circuit. The faster the pace, the better her prospects.
