Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (GATTAIA) (5-2) - This filly is taking a big drop while switching back to the dirt. An easy 4.5-length winner at this distance for a $7,500 tag Sept. 13 at Canterbury Downs, she was re-claimed that day by Bob Diodoro after losing her for one race. 4yo tired here facing tougher on the grass Nov. 1 and is well spotted today to pickup her seventh win.
2nd pick: #1 (Mizzen Air) (7-5) - Veteran mare is another switching from grass to dirt and takes a big drop in class. Competitive in two straight here on the turf facing tougher, she's won six of 21 on the dirt, has a speed/stalking style, and has the rail. An obvious win candidate at a short price.
3rd pick: #4 (Indian Bella) (7-2) - Competitive in four straight, she finished 2nd here at this distance facing similar types Nov. 24. Stalker is from the same barn (Bob Diodoro) as 'Gattaia,' fits with this group in her present form, and must be left in the mix.
