Top pick: #3 (LUCKY'S PAT) (5-2) - Lightly-raced Calif. bred drops off an even effort here for a $5K tag April 4th. It was her first start in three months and she's worked fast since for leading trainer Bob Diodoro. Stretch runner goes a bit farther today and that should help her cause out.
2nd pick: #4 (Faith Under Fire) (9-5) - Filly was an easy winner at this tag going 6-furlongs on the dirt March 24th. She cleared the 2l condition that afternoon and was moved up in class, switched to the turf, and sent a mile April 11th. She did well that day to check in third of 10 and earned a career best figure. Win candidate on her return to the main track.
3rd pick: #2 (First Flower) (9-2) - Grey filly rallied from just off the pace to win here at this tag April 6th. It was her first off a Joe Toye claim as 4-year-old cleared the 2l condition. Calif. bred has some back class and can factor with a little improvement.
