Top pick: #4 (NIKOSSERA) - Filly races for the first time since July 9th and has a pair of back to back half-mile breezes showing for her return. Trainer Tracie Aker has won with three of her last five starters coming off of long absences and 4-year-old daughter of "Shaniko" can take this if ready.
2nd pick: #3 (Soul Digger) - Lightly-raced filly makes her first start in two months and does so off a trainer switch to Angel Silva (23% with new arrivals). Daughter of "Perfect Soul" has broken slowly in two of her last three outings, but had a bullet 3-furlong work April 1st at Golden Gate Fields before shipping here. Silva has been on a month long "hot" streak and has improved just about everything he's gotten his hands on.
3rd pick: #6 (Oso de Oro) - Mare finished second in back to back starst back in Dec. of 2010 but hasn't raced since. Home-bred is working steadily and trainer Kevin Lewis will drop her into a career soft spot. Dangerous if ready.
