Top pick: #2 (BENCH RULING) (5-1) - Well bred and lightly raced, she enters off a second place finish here at this level going a mile on Dec. 19th. It was her second back off a three month break, and she set a quick and pressured pace that afternoon. Filly gets a slight edge as she cuts back in real estate.
2nd pick: #5 (Easterisatmorgans) (4-1) - Debuting filly has some very impressive works on her tab and is from the barn of veteran Dan Morgan. Trainer is having a great meet (33-7-3-5), and this 4yo looks all set for her first outing.
3rd pick: #4 (Kikisoblu) (9-5) - The morning line favorite, filly finished a solid third when debuting here at this level and distance Dec. 16th. Daughter of "Kodiak Kowboy" has worked well since and hails from a capable small barn (Wade Rarick).
4th pick: #3 (Fu Peggi Sue) (6-1) - The field's most experienced maiden enters off a second place finish in early Dec. facing weaker. Capable of getting another minor award, but she'll need to do much better for anything more than that.
