Top pick: #4 (AMP AND ADRENALIN) (4-1) - He's improved following an Eric Kruljac claim and a switch from dirt to turf. Gelding by "Harlan's Holiday" likes to stalk and pounce and there's plenty of potential pace signed on to help his late charge be successful.
2nd pick: #7 (Dakota Dusty) (3-1) - He finished a "neck" in front of "Adrenalin" last out and has now been sharp in three straight on the local lawn (3-1-1-1). Lightly-raced speed/stalker is in a good barn (Jeff Metz) and is a win candidate despite losing rider Scott Stevens to our top pick.
3rd pick: #3 (Delta Court) (7-2) - No-speed type rallied into a moderate pace to finish second and just in fron of both "Dusty" and "Adrenalin" last out. Nice effort came off almost a two month break and was his first ever on the grass. Bred for the surface, he would benefit the most by a fast and/or contested pace.
4th pick: #5 (Sports Report) (6-1) - Three-year-old has had a busy year (15-2-4-3), and stalker comes off a nice-looking win here at the 2l allowance condition in an "off the turf" contest just 11 days ago. He'd finished second to "Dusty" on the grass in his previous start and must be left in the mix.
