Top pick: #2 (OBJECTION) (5-2) - Well-bred filly set/pressed a quick pace and tired to finish third here going a mile on the grass racing at this level on April 12th. She'd been competitive in her previous pair sprinting on the dirt and looks set for a big effort.
2nd pick: #4 (Prospective Erica) (9-2) - Sunland Park invader just missed there when debuting on Jan. 27 racing for a $12.5K tag, then tired two months later after showing early speed when facing New Mexico-bred special weights. Drops, is making back-to-back starts for the first time, and leading rider Franco is aboard for her Turf Paradise debut.
3rd pick: #7 (Secluded Shore) (7-2) - Arizona-bred showed an improved effort on April 22nd when she rated, bid, and levelled off to finish third. Positive run was her first since debuting on Feb. 18 and a good small barn (Sandi Gann) brings her back in eight days for this attempt.
4th pick: #5 (Make More Money) (3-1) - Debuting Cal.-bred has been working very fast since mid-February and is in a capable barn (Bob Franco) that doesn't deal with many maidens. If she does run to her AM drills, the rest could be in big trouble.
