Top pick: #2 (CANDY CAN DO) (9-5) - Debuting 5yo meets a very weak field and has some impressive works showing including three straight 5 furlong works, two of the bullet variety. The high percentage barn of Mike Chambers doesn't deal with many first-time-starters, but has won with 5 of their last 11.
2nd pick: #1 (Stormin Arvin) (3-1) - He raced evenly here facing slightly better on Feb 10 in his first since arriving from Santa Anita. His form had dipped since last fall, but against this group he's in the mix.
3rd pick: #3 (William Wallace) (7-2) - Gelding by "The Daddy" cost $50K and has been somewhat competitive all but one of his nine starts, including thhre straight here at this level.
4th pick: #4 (Plenty Due) (6-1) - Gelding broke slowly when debuting here for a $12.5K tag on Dec 4th and hasn't run since. He had a nice half-mile breeze on Feb 24th and could grab a share at a decent price.
