Top pick: #4 (QUALITY ROAD) - I liked him earlier in the year before he was knocked off the "Triple Crown Trail" by some hoof problems. Son of "Elusive Quality" looked super earlier in the meet when he set a track record in winning the "Amsterdam"(G2) and that came off a four-month layoff and was also his first start for trainer Todd Pletcher. He's never run on anything but a fast track, but worked nicely in the slop here the other day. The top selection.
2nd pick: #3 (Warrior's Reward) - Consistent and he has a "flexible" style. Probably best utilized from a just off the pace spot, he's won on an "off" track before and is working fast for this attempt. Has a legitimate shot at the win.
3rd pick: #5 (Our Edge) - Fast, improving, working well, and is in a barn (Nick Zito) that knows how to spring an upset. Son of "The Cliff's Edge" has won three in a row and won a stakes two back at Monmouth in the slop. Dangerous front-runner.
