Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (ANALYZE IT) (3-1) - Lightly-raced speed/stalker suffered his first defeat when he lost by a 'neck' to today's rival 'Catholic Boy' in the local 8.5 furlong Pennine Ridge Stakes (G3) June 2. He looked 'home free' that afternoon after rallying to go by that rival early in the stretch, but seemed to let up at that point and was passed late to just miss. Trainer Chad Brown has breezed him three times since and think this colt will get back to the winner's circle in this rich contest.
2nd pick: #8 (Hawkish) (7-2) - Unraced as a 2-year-old, gelding has won 3-of-4 this year and enters off an easy 3 length win in the rich Penn National Mile (G2) June 2. In the barn of turf specialist Jimmy Toner, home bred is working very fast here and should love the 10 furlong trip.
3rd pick: #5 (Maraud) (8-1) - Consistent sort tired late to finish 3.5 lengths behind 'Hawkish' in the Penn National Mile (G2) June 2. He had won two of his previous three including Churchill's American Turf Stakes (G2) May 5. $375K son of 'Blame' can factor at a square price with his normal effort.
4th pick: #7 (Catholic Boy) (4-1) - He rallied last out to defeat 'Analyze It' by a 'neck' in a local G3 stakes June 2. Son of 'More Than Ready' has won 3-of-4 on the grass and finished a close up and troubled fourth in last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) Nov. 3 at Del Mar. Must be left in the mix.
