(# 1) SHAKOHA - Filly was reclaimed recently by trainer Duane Knipe who has done very well this year. She owns a good overall win mark and has displayed the ability to either set or stalk the pace. Owns a local victory and enters this event in shape and some of the others may need some conditioning races.

(# 6) Triumph Arch - Has a fine overall record this season with four wins and three seconds in fourteen starts at a variety of tracks. From the good Bennett barn and has a pair of sharp works over Tampa dirt on view.

(# 4) Spicy Tour - Doesn't have much speed, and as is usually the case, will need a swift or contested pace to contend for the top spot.

(# 8) Flaming Nora - Tries hard just about every time she races. Can position herself in the clear around mid-pack. Has never raced outside of Canada.
