Top pick: #4 (GENERAL A ROD) (3-1) - Colt ran in all three "Triple Crown" events last year and went in for seven month layoff following a good effort in the Belmont Stakes. He raced evenly at Gulfstream going 7 furlongs on Jan. 14 in his return start and has been working sharply at Palm Beach Downs for this attempt.
2nd pick: #8 (Good Lord) (8-1) - Longshot is stretching out in distance for his second back off a two month break. Eight-year-old is still capable of a big effort and has been working nicely since finishing a close up fourth here in a sprint stakes on Jan. 24. He has Centeno aboard and expect him to get him involved right at the break.
3rd pick: #3 (Ghost Hunter) (15-1) - Speedy sort moves way up in class off a pair of good efforts here facing weaker. In the high energy barn of Jamie Ness and this gelding worked an excellent mile here on Feb. 26. Can impact at a very big price.
4th pick: #5 (Neck 'n Neck) (8-1) - He missed by a "neck" here facing weaker on Feb. 7. It was only his third since returning from a nine-month layoff in Nov. Can grab a share, but a win would be a surprise.
5th pick: #11 (Decisive Moment) (12-1) - Speedy sort draws a tough outside post so he'll be gunning hard at the start. There's not a lot of other early speed signed on and he could be in this from start-to-finish if he clears off in the first 1/4 mile.
