Top pick: #6 (QUEEN OF ENGLAND) (3-1) - Filly tries hard every time out and has run well in all three starts at this meet after coming back from a four month break on Dec. 19. Daughter of "English Channel" broke her maiden on Feb. 1, then ran fourth for a $25K tag on Feb. 23 in her first facing winners. Her connections drop her down fdor this and speed/stalker is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Crimson Spire) (7-2) - Mare has also been competitive in her starts at this long meet and was a maiden winner on Jan. 18. She followed that up with a close up and "gtroubled" fourth place finish at this level on March 1st and she was claimed that afternoon by Forrest Kaelin. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Queen For Life) (5-1) - Mare put in a strong late rally to finish third here at this level on March 1st in only her second back from almost an eight month layoff. Dangerous, especially if the pace is fast.
4th pick: #8 (Patsy Jo) (10-1) - Home-bred by "Seeking the Gold" is lightly raced and last out made a premature move to gain command before tiring. This field isn't that deep and she can factor at a square price.
