Top pick: #2 (BRAD'S RUBY) (5-2) - One of two entered by trainer Joan Scott and the pair of fillies races uncoupled. Speedy sort has been freshened up since late Oct. when she finished a solid third at Churchill Downs despite a troubled start. Working well locally, she has fine early speed and can get her maiden win in this spot.
2nd pick: #10 (Belladini) (7-2) - Home-bred set a quick pace and held to finish a clear second to a good-looking winner here at this level on Dec. 7. Trainer Dennis Ward has given her almost five weeks to recover and has worked her twice. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Cat Ten) (8-1) - Price play hasn't seen action since she finished a pace-pressing third at Gulfstream on Aug. 31. Heavily bet in both starts, she's working fine off-site and races with lasix added.
4th pick: #9 (Cor Blimey) (10-1) - The second of the Scott trained lies, she's a first-time-starter and has some fine drills showing on her AM tab. Well-bred, she cost $87K as a yearling in 2012.
