Top pick: #4 (STOUT HOPE) (8-1) - Price play stretches out in distance off a third-place finish here at this level and distance on Feb. 1. He set a pressured pace that day and held well in his first race since Dec. 4. Barn (Anthony Ferraro) has him set up for a big effort.
nd pick: #3 (Atlantic Paws) (9-2) - Veteran gets a rider change today and Dave Coa should keep him just off the pace and attempt to rally at the 1/2 mile pole. More than capable and he's a win threat.
rd pick: #1 (Alex's Vision) (6-1) - Gelding stretches out off a series of even efforts and stalker draws the rail. Gelding doesn't win very often, but a bullet half-mile breeze on Feb. 14 indicates he's ready for a competitive effort.
th pick: #6 (Clever King) (7-2) - Strong finisher has rallied to finish second in two straight at this level. His lack of early speed is apparent and a fast/and or contested pace would help his late running style out.
th pick: #5 (Technical Express) (5-1) - Gelding has been competitive in all three 7-furlong starts at this meet and he's won going two-turns in the past. Can factor with a well-timed ride by jockey Fernando De La Cruz.
