2nd pick: #2 (Tapage) (3-1) - A NEW gelding, this Godolphin home-bred by 'Tapit' tired badly here facing tougher going 8.5 furlongs April 1. A maiden winner going nine furlongs at Gulfstream Park in an 'off the turf' contest in his previous attempt (Feb. 15), he enters off a quick half-mile work May 3 and is a strong win candidate today.
3rd pick: #7 (Violator) (8-1) - He tired last out April 1 in the same race as 'Tapage.' He was a bit over a length in front of that rival and is obviously taking the same drop. 3yo has more early speed than most and should be involved from gate-to-wire.
