Top pick: #3 (TO THE POINT) (2-1) - Once classier type rallied to finish third here at this level on Jan. 9 in her first start since Oct. 12 when she missed by a nose at Belmont Park. Argentine-bred veteran should be sharper today and the high percentage barn of Leigh Delacour brings her back in three weeks for this.
2nd pick: #4 (Chloe Carol) (5-1) - Mare rallied to finish fourth here at this tag and trip on the grass on Dec. 12 in her first since late July. That was followed up by a poor effort in a race that was switched to the dirt on Jan. 4 and she's clearly a factr every time she races on the turf.
3rd pick: #8 (The West Rim) (5-2) - Mare had an outside post and raced very wide the entire race here facing tougher on Jan. 19. Effort came off a 2 1/2 month layoff and her connections bring her back in 11 days and drop her in class.
4th pick: #9 (Catch That Kitten) (10-1) - She has fine early speed and tired last out facing tougher in her first off a Gerald Bennett claim. Veteran mare likes this surface (8-2-2-1), has some back class, and her early speed makes her a threat.
