Top pick: #1 (RUBY RED) - She's improved dramaticall since coming here from Gulfstream in late February and switching to the barn of Kate O'Connell. Home-bred broke her maiden here on Feb 29th, then was probably best last out when she finished 2nd after being "bumped" at the break March 31st racing for $10,000. O'Connell drops her down a bit and shortens her up a furlong. 3yo has the rail and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Sapphire Sun) - Grey filly broke her maiden here at this trip on March 30th, then was never involved last out after not getting off to a good start. Owner/trainer Lori Smock brings her back quickly and 4yo is a threat at a nice price.
3rd pick: #2 (Codera) - One of two fillies entered here by trainer Tom Monte and the pair race as separate interests. Daughter of "Omega Code" had a terrible post last out and tired after chasing a fast pace while wide. Draws a better slot today and she can factor at a very big price.
