Well bred, he has a good shot at a square price.
2nd pick: #10 (Rock the Park) (8-1) - Longshot has good early speed and a fine outside post out of the seven-furlong chute to use it from. He moves back to the dirt after a troubled trip in a mile contest on the grass facing tougher March 20. He missed by only three lengths sprinting on the dirt March 1, and that race had a pretty strong field. I think he's dangerous at a big price.
3rd pick: #8 (Absalom) (3-1) - Lightly raced 4yo tired late to check in 4th after pressing a quick pace going a mile on the grass for a $25K tag March 28. Down in price and moving back to the dirt, he's nicely spotted by Darien Rodriguez in his second following a claim.
4th pick: #7 (Devil's Rule) (4-1) - Tough call on this one. Away since Dec. 13, this consistent sort went 9-1-4-3 last year on the Mid-West circuit, and is dropping into a claimer for the first time. Training off-site, he's very dangerous IF ready.
