Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (DOUBLE DEEP) (7-2) - Veteran rallied to finish 4th of 9, beaten 4.5 lengths here for an $8000 tag at this distance March 21. He was pushed out to be extremely wide turning for home and is dropping down to today's $5000 claiming price for the first time. I give him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #9 (Amelia's Wild Ride) (3-1) - State bred ships from Gulfstream where he's been racing evenly in grass sprints facing tougher. Stalker is capable on the dirt 19-5-2-5 and is another dropping down to this $5000 price tag for the first time. A win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Big Gillette) (5-1) - He's switching from grass to dirt, dropping in class, and is shortening up in distance in his 2nd start back following just under a year's layoff. This is only his 4th race since August of 2017 and at that time was in career best form on the grass. He does have speed and and is capable of winning this with h1s 'A' game.
4th pick: #1 (Ima Wildcat) (8-1) - Old timer tired badly after setting a quick and pressured pace here at this level and distance March 11. Once a much classier runner, he was racing off a 22 month layoff last out and was bet down to 8-5 favoritism. He has the rail and will try and win this in gate-to-wire style.
