Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (BARREL ROLL) (3-1) - Well bred filly cost $160K back in the fall of 2013 and began her career with 'Hall of Famer' Bill Mott. Claimed last June at Belmont by Jamie Ness (32% off the claim), she's working very fasa here for her return to action. Daughter of 'Sky Mesa' has leading rider Gallardo aboard and if filly runs to her works, the rest are in trouble.
nd pick: #2 (Rue de Rivoli) (5-2) - The morning line favorite, she rallied to finish 2nd of 10, beaten 1.5-lengths here at this level going 9-furlongs Feb 3. Daughter of 'Smart Strike' has a recency edge on 'Barrel Roll' is an obvious win candidate.
rd pick: #3 (Lilies and Roses) (10-1) - Speedy filly set a pressured pace before tiring down the stretch to finish 4-lengths behind 'Barrel Roll' last out. It was a positive effort and it was her 2nd back from a 9-month layoff. Can factor at a big price.
th pick: #4 (Regalya) (6-1) - She raced both wide and evenly in the same last race as both 'Rue' and 'Lilies'. She split that pair at the finish in what was only her 2nd start and first on the grass.
th pick: #6 (Happily Ever) (20-1) - Longshot was never involded in the same last race as the top three picks. However, it was her first back from a pair of layoffs and she's worked fast since. Trainer Dale Bennett has her making back-to-back starts for the first time since last spring.
