Top pick: #8 (YENZEN) (5-2) - He rallied to finish second here when facing tougher on Dec. 22 in his first start since Feb. In the barn of leading trainer Jamie Ness (51-21-10-7) at the meet and he drops him down a bit this afternoon. Lightly-raced gelding will be very tough in this spot.
2nd pick: #5 (Cocodimama) (3-1) - The main danger, he also finished second last out racing for $25K and trainer derek Ryan will drop him back down and also puts blinkers back on this 4-year-old after a two race absence. Strong contender.
3rd pick: #6 (Calipari) (6-1) - He lost to "Coco" all three times he faced him last summer/fall in New jersey, but two of those were by small margins. He has a good late kick and would benefit the most if the pace was fast/and or contested.
5th pick: #2 (Kurhah) (10-1) - He's only raced once since breaking his maiden in early June at calder. Working off-site for his return and colt resides in a very capable small barn (Curtis Garrison).
