2nd pick: #4 (Classic Kate) (6-1) - She's from the barn of leading trainer Gerald Bennett. Home bred had a nice 5-furlong gate breeze here on Jan. 14. Veteran Bennett wins at a 26% rate first out.
3rd pick: #7 (Starship Secret) (7-2) - Daughter of "Tale of the Cat" has is returning from an 11-month layoff. Mare showed some talent back then going longer on the turf facing tougher. She's taking a big drop and is sprinting on the dirt for the first time. Working above average, she runs with blinkers on. Would like her more, but apprentice Kennedy went 0 for 63 in 2014 and is still seeking his first sanctioned victory.
4th pick: #5 (Shayenot'ntonobody) (5-2) - The probable favorite, speed/stalker is racing for the first time since May. She's been competitive in her last pair and then came against much tougher. In a good barn and her last pair of works suggest her readiness.
