Top pick: #7 (MYLES) (5-2) - He ran a career best last out when trainer Wayne Catalano added blinkers for the first time. Home-bred broke on top, set a reasonable pace and was nailed in the last two strides to lose by a neck. The effort was complimented when the third-place finisher broke his maiden next out. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Dragon Tail) (3-1) - Gulfstream shipper has finished fifth of 11 in both starts there since returning from a 4 1/2 month layoff on Dec. 19. Top barn (Roger Attfield) rarely sends any here (except for stakes) and this Ontario-bred is a win candidate from off the pace with leading rider Serpa aboard
3rd pick: #9 (Alfie Come Home) (5-1) - "Alfie" comes off a career best when he finished a pace-setting second here at this level going a mile on Jan. 27. Race was his first ever on the grass and it's nice to see Dan Centeno back on the re-ride.
4th pick: #2 (I Captivate Myself) (12-1) - Price play has some speed and has finish fourth twice here in three starts on this course since coming off a nine month layoff in early Dec. Must be left in the mix, and at long odds.
