Top pick: #7 (RADAR OF LOVE) - Nice effort last out in his second lifetime start, as he broke sharply, set a sold pace, dug in when challenged, and tired very late to finish third. Race was at this price and distance, and he's come back with a 3-bullet, 3-furlong breeze on Feb. 2. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Thrill Factor) - Exits the same race as "Radar" and he raced close-up through-out and rallied late to edge that rival out of the place spot by a 1/2 length. Effort came off an 11-month layoff and he's an obvious win candidate in this spot.
3rd pick: #2 (Captain Henry) - Gelding ran evenly here at this price going 6 furlongs two weeks ago in his first start in 3 1/2 months, and first off a trainer change to Bob Smith. Effort was a positive one and he can factor with some improvement.
