Top pick: #7 (LEVY) - Runs first time for Jamie Ness (a 33% winning angle) and he'll move this gelding to the grass, a surface he was bred to love. Three-year-old by turf champ "Artie Schiller" missed by a neck last out at Presque Isle Downs and will race today off almost a three month break. Working fast locally and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #9 (Under Control) - Gelding by "Norther Afleet" raced wide and tired when debuting at Laurel Oct. 11 in a 7-furlong dirt race. Training above average since, trainer Graham Motion will move him to the grass and stretch him out in distance.
3rd pick: #2 (Bodie Island) - He tired badly when debuting at Delaware in early October. Trainer Jonathan Sheppard rarely keeps runners with no ability and this home-bred by "Kafwain" certainly has more than he showed that day. Barn wins at a 17% rate second time out.
4th pick: #10 (What a Loosecannon) - Races off a seven week freshening and gets a positive trainer change to Rick Kohnhorst (16% with new arrivals). Improving, and last out at Keeneland he raced evenly at this level. Don't just dismiss.
